The writing lab created by the ORWELL project is available for free in our Moodle platform

Do you want to learn how to write an essay on a controversial topic? Do you want your students to be supported when writing this task?  

The main aim of this intervention is to train students to be able to reach integrative conclusions while writing an argumentative synthesis from two opposite approaches. The aim is supporting students to take into account both positions, critically analysing the arguments and counterarguments given by previous texts and seeking solutions to resolve life controversies. 

The training consists of a video explaining the steps to be followed in relation to the processes involved in writing an argumentative synthesis and a series of questions and graphic aids to guide these processes. At the end of this process, students will have written an integrative text on the controversial topic. You can register in the intervention as a student and use the materials to learn, or as a teacher, which will give you access to download the materials to implement them in your institution Moodle platform.
